General terms and conditions of sale
Any order placed on the website www.calirezo.com will be exclusively regulated by these terms and conditions that should therefore be read carefully. Placing an order implies you have read these terms and conditions and fully and irrevocably agree with them.
1 - Conclusion of the sales contract between the client and the artist
The Artworks are presented on the site with a description enabling the Buyer to know their essential characteristics and price.
Payment is made by bank transfer. The client proceeds with payment as soon as it has been communicated the artist's bank details.
As soon as the transfer has been received, the artist takes care of buying the packaging material and preparing the package, as well as producing a certificate of authenticity and an invoice, (if need be).
It is up to the artist to find a shipping company and decide on the departure date of the package, in accordance with the client. The client then confirms the shipping address and provides all additional required information for the conveyor to insure safe shipping. The client pays the shipping invoice via bank transfer upon receipt.
2 - Price and payment
The purchase price of the artworks is determined by the artist. It is stated in euros and dollars, including taxes, but excluding shipping costs.
If customs duties, local taxes or import duties are payable, these rights are the responsibility of the client and under its full responsibility, both in terms of returns and payments to the authorities / competent bodies. It is responsible to check with the relevant authorities.
3 - Shipping methods & fees, or withdrawal at the artist's studio
• Shipping from the artist to the client's home
The client has the option to have the Artwork delivered to his home. The artist agrees to package the artworks ordered and to make them available to the carrier.
Depending on the client's delivery address, different taxation rules and additional charges may apply. If the client is shipping items outside of the artist's residence territory, he may need to pay import duties upon receipt of the products. The client will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes that are not included. The client is free to contact his local customs office for further information before placing his order.
The artworks ordered are shipped with a certificate of authenticity and an invoice (if need be).
• Withdrawal by the client from the artist's studio
The client may also pick up the artworks ordered directly at the artist's studio. In that case, there are no shipping fees.
The artist will deliver herself on site the packaged artworks as well as the certificate of authenticity and the invoice (if need be) to the client.
4 - Litigation - Disputes
As a general rule, the artist is committed with providing quality service to her clients.
As such, any client can contact the artist by email at email@example.com for any claim concerning the artworks ordered if the artworks were not received, or damaged upon receipt. However, the client shall refuse the package from the carrier if it is clearly damaged and notify the artist by e-mail. The client agrees, upon receiving the package, to check the condition of the artworks and write down any concern within the next 48h.
In case of such a complaint, the artist will make all the efforts necessary to resolve the dispute with the client amicably.
5 - Applicable law
These terms and conditions are subjected to French law. Any dispute concerning their interpretation and/or execution shall be relieved by the French courts.
